 Youth & School-Age Services Program and Eligibility Overview
All
Youth and School-Age Services programs may be used by youth
and teens (6 to 18 years old) of active duty military, retired
military and DOD civilians. The Fort Myer Youth and School-Age
program is accredited by the National School-Age Care Alliance
and we are also affiliate members of Boys and Girls Clubs
of America and the National 4-H Club. Programs are offered
for youth and teens at the Youth and School-Age Services Center,
Building 469, Fort Myer. The programs offered include the
framework for Army youth programs: Sports, Fitness & Health,
Life Skills, Citizenship & Leadership, Arts, Recreation
& Leisure, and Mentoring, Intervention & Education
Support Services. Special events are offered throughout the
year that include family trips, individual and team sports,
leisure and recreational activities, Summer Camps, and a Middle
School/Teen Lounge.
Youth
and teens ages 6 to 18 years can learn, improve existing skills
and meet friends at the Youth and School-Age Services Center.
The Center offers a computer/homework center, holiday theme
parties, teen all nighters, movie nights, billiards, foosball,
board games, multipurpose room for basketball, roller skating,
volleyball, teen club meetings, and more.

& After School Hourly Care Rates

Pick Up Fee after scheduled closing time is $1.00
per minute, or a maximum of $15.00 per CYS site.
- Late
Payment Fee will be applied to each child’s account,
not to the family. ($25.00
per child’s account)

Youth Summer
Camp
We
offer an eight week (8) planned program full of activities
ranging from field trips, fine arts, sports and fitness, adventure
and explorers, computers, drama, swimming, and much more.
The program operates Monday through Friday 6:00 AM to 6:00
PM. Fees are based on Total Family Income. Registration for
camp begins the first Monday in May. Registration packages
may be picked up from the Child and Youth Services Center
beginning the first week in March.
