Free Outdoor Film
Festival August 13-20
NEW movies and a
NEW location. The show must go on! The movie line-up has been
announced for the 14th Annual Comcast Film Festival which
will take place nightly from Friday, August 13th to
Friday, August 20th and its going to be another GREAT
event! Due to construction at the Strathmore location the film
festival has relocated to the Universities at Shady Grove,
9630 Gudelsky Drive, Rockville, MD. Come and see movies as they were meant to be viewed…on the
BIG screen.

Bring your blanket, chairs (low chairs only please) and anyone who
loves movies to this great event. The movies are free, free
parking is available, food will be available to purchase on site,
and of course we will be holding a raffle and accepting donations to
help raise funds for the NIH Charities (Friends of the
Clinical Center, The Children’s Inn and Camp Fantastic/Special
Love).

Summer Heats Up

Wild rides,
water park thrills, funnel cakes, Whack-A-Mole and now…the Summer
Concert Series! Six Flags America is topping off the summer
season with the sounds of music from today’s hottest artists!
Even better than the music, the concerts are free with your
admission ticket. So not only can you purchase discounted
admission tickets to the parks at the R&W, but the tickets give
you FREE Concerts! You get more for less! For $26.25 you can
visit Six Flags America, just around the corner on the Beltway,
and rock out Mitchel Musso on July, 17th, The Maine on
August 4th and JLS and Hot Chelle Rae on August 15th.
Cap off the summer of 2010 with a fantastic concert and a day to
remember this great amusement park. It’s a great way to spend the
day.

R&W Weekend Group
Games:
Orioles and Nationals
The R&W has a
limited number of tickets to a variety of “weekend” Washington
Nationals games during the 2010 season. This may be your best
chance to see rookie sensation Stephen Strasburg in action. All
tickets are located in Section 221, unless noted otherwise, and
include the following dates: July 9th and Sat. July
10th vs. the San Francisco Giants, Sat., Aug. 14th
(Sect. 219) and Sun., Aug. 15th vs. the Arizona
Diamondbacks and Sun., Aug. 29th vs. the St. Louis
Cardinals. Tickets are $35 (gate price $55) each. A list of our remaining regular season
Orioles and Nationals tickets can be found on the ticket page.
