How Does ERWA Work?
ERWA
was established under the former U.S. Atomic Energy Commission in 1947,
and currently serves the entire DOE Headquarters complex. ERWA has had
a longstanding affiliation with the Employee Services Management
Association (ESM), formerly NESRA. ERWA is supported by volunteers and
has no paid employees. Revenue for our activities comes from membership
fees, rent received from the GTN barber shop and from vendors in both
FORS and GTN lobbies.
