Wellness Lecture with Alyssa J. Morrison
5 Ways to Take Your Run to the Next Level

Whether you are interested in increasing your race distance, running your chosen race distance at a faster pace or you just want to be more efficient with your running, this seminar is for you.  We will dive into ways to take your training to the next level through a variety of different strategies including running form efficiencies, heart rate based training, varying your training workouts, run/walk pattern, correct pacing, race nutrition and much more.  This seminar is ideal for any runner, novice or experienced, young or old, fast or just making due!  

Alyssa has been helping people improve their fitness for years as an occupational therapist. She holds a Bachelor's of Science Degree from Syracuse University and an MBA with a Sports Management focus from George Washington University.  Alyssa is a seasoned runner and triathlete and is a certified USAT Level 2 Triathlon Coach, US Cycling Level 3 Coach and an ACE Health Coach. Alyssa is the founder and head coach of Multisport In Motion (www.multisportinmotion.com)

Personal Trainer of the Month: Katya Jafari

Katya Jafari graduated from James Madison University in 2006 with a B.S. in Exercise Science/Nutrition and Exercise Leadership, and is currently working towards her Associate’s Degree in Nursing. Specializing in injury prevention, kettle bells, weight loss, core strength, muscular endurance, nutrition and disease prevention, she takes a holistic approach to improving your overall health and fitness. She will motivate you to go further than you thought possible; all while loving every minute with sweat in your eyes, and a smile on your face.
