Join NIHGL players and friends for our 2009 Fun-Lovin 18-hole Fall Outing at The Links of Challedon in Mt. Airy, MD (http://www.thelinksatchalledon.com). 

 

Time:       T-times start at 10:30 AM 

Cost:        $80 for Golf (cart, range balls and prizes) and delicious, plentiful BBQ dinner

(Grilled Chicken Breast, Italian Sausage and Pulled Pork BBQ, cole slaw,

potato salad, ice tea/lemonade and dessert bar).

$60 for Golf only

$20 for BBQ dinner only

I-270 North/West to Route 27 east (Damascus, Exit number 16). Follow route 27 through Damascus. Cross under I-70 and continue on route 27 for approximately four mile to Gillis Falls Road, turn right. Proceed on Gillis Falls Rd. to the second Challedon Circle, turn left. The second left is Clubhouse Drive, turn left.

 

 

 

NIHGL Fall Banquet October 9th!!


Hi Everyone—
We have something different and fun planned for the fall banquet—not that this isn’t a fun group anyway.  Save Friday October 9 from 7 to 9 to wrap up the season with the NIHGL.
 
The banquet will be at Dave and Buster’s at White Flint Mall (on the top floor near the movies).  Thanks to Russ Strand, who has organized everything, we have a private room, dinner, and drinks planned, and anyone who wants can take advantage of the games and other activities at D&Bs. 
 
The menu will include:
Tortilla, chipotle and lime crusted tilapia
Rosemary roasted chicken
Honey glazed baby carrots
House salad
Kung Pao sesame noodle salad
Garlic herb roasted potatoes
Fresh baked rolls and butter
 
And of course, there will be the usual lavish prizes for the various winners from the season.  The league will pay for two free drinks per member.  Guests are welcome to attend, but they will have to share a member’s free drinks or pay for their own.  All of this is only $30 per person which includes tax and tip.  Send your check to Russ, payable to NIHGL; please note whether you will be bringing any guests.  For address to sent payment, please e-mail Russ at:
