The Library Of Congress Recreation Association Bible Study Group (BSG) is comprised of Library of Congress employees who have a desire to study the Bible and search out the truth of scripture. The BSG was officially formed in the early ‘80s. Since that time, the Group has continued to meet to study the Word of God and has sponsored several Christian-based programs.
The primary goal of the BSG is to provide a workplace arena for Christian believers to meet during the week for encouragement, edification and enlightenment through scripture and prayer. The Group is open to all Library staff and others who are interested in learning what the Bible states about God, His commandments and those who place their belief in Him. Discussions cover scripture in the biblical context as well as its relation to contemporary life issues.
The BSG meets once a week and always is eager to have new members.
The Bible Club meets every Wednesday at noon in room LM642. Please contact Sandra Jones at 707-5950 for more information.
