The National Institutes of Health Asian and Pacific Islander American Organization (APAO) serves as an independent resource, spokesperson and advocate for the ethnic Asian and Pacific Islander American (APA) employees of NIH.

The APAO addresses the needs of APA employees relating to employee representation in the work force and its relationships with other national and community organizations.

The APAO supports the efforts and programs of the NIH that promote equality and fairness in the workplace for all NIH employees.

What's New

The NIH Asian & Pacific Islander American Organization Cordially Extends an Invitation to
Attend its Annual Awards Ceremony and Holiday Luncheon to be held on:
                            
  Wednesday, 12/16/2009
       Noon to 1:30 pm
    Wilson Hall, Building 1

The Program will feature an awards ceremony and installation of the new APAO officers.

An assortment of Asian cuisine will be served. A contribution of $10 will be collected at the door.
