NIH Fencing Club Policy
Annual dues are $7.00 per year plus the cost of an RFC membership. Anyone taking private lessons must be a club member. You do not have to be a NIH employee to belong to the club. Please contact Coach Pokalenko if you would like to begin fencing on Wednesdays. You must be an NIH club member to fence with us. Make checks payable to NIH R&W FC.
Visitors: One-time visitors can fence for free, but repeat visitors must join the club.
Club members must own or rent their equipment. Speak to Larry Pinkus to order. Members must wear proper protective clothing to fence in the club ( safe masks and jackets - no shorts are permitted.) The USFA requires this so that our insurance is in effect. We are an insured club and a member club of the Capitol Division.
Class fees and monthly lesson fees must be paid in advance. Fencers are responsible for paying for missed private lessons.
