Coach Larry Pinkus took a big step toward making the 2009 Veterans World Championship team by winning the December NAC in Veterans 60+ Men’s sabre held in Colorado Springs , CO.  He defeated world championship silver medalist Paul Apostol in the semi finals and world championship bronze medalist Ray Sexton in the gold medal bouts.  
 
Rinaldo Campana, Larry Pinkus, Steve Heck, Lynnette Whitt, and Beth Merritt participated in the 2008 National Championships in San Jose, CA.  Larry finished 5th in men’s Vet 60+ saber and won a fence-off to earn a spot on the U.S. Veteran’s World Championship Team. Rinaldo also earned a place on the team in 60+ men’s foil.  Former club member Anne-Marie Walters made the team in 50-59 women’s veterans foil.
