Requirements: skills required to sail club's Flying Scot sailboats
> Basic
Training: for inexperienced sailors at NIH or NOAA to qualify to
sail the Scots
> Checkout Sail: for experienced sailors at NIH or NOAA
to qualify to sail the Scots
> NIHSA Flying Scot Ratings:
After passing the Basic Training (or for experienced sailors,
passing the Checkout Sail) a person qualifies
for Restricted Helmsperson. A
person can then
advance to Helmsperson
and Skipper ratings. Ratings
apply to Flying Scots, not cruising boats.
