Treasury Building
The Treasury Department Recreation Association, Inc. (TDRA) is chartered in the District of Columbia (1 April 1983). TDRA is exempt from federal income taxes under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and is treated as a publicly supported organization. District of Columbia corporation fees are paid annually.
 

 

TDRA is an all-volunteer organization in support of Treasury employees both active and retired. TDRA provides a business card and social printing service and operates a Catalog Store of Treasury Department logo items where members receive discounts. TDRA promotes other seasonal and special event activities including a flower sale for Professional Secretary's Day and a combined holiday sale of our catalog merchandise in the Cash Room. TDRA is a member of ESM (The Employee Services Management Association) which provides commerical discounts on a wide range of items and services. Members receive news of the organization electronically in the TDRA Newsletter.

TDRA is governed by a Board of Directors and our officers are elected at our annual membership meeting in December. Membership in the organization is open to active and retired federal employees of the Treasury and other Federal Agencies. Non-federal current Treasury employees may also join the organization. Membership costs $10.00 and is valid for twelve calendar months from the date it is issued. Only regular Federal members may vote in our elections. We have no regular hours of operation, nor do we have a storefront or counter-sale facility.
